Cancellation and refund policy
Draft pending legal review. This policy has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer in Ireland and will be finalised before the platform serves real patients.
If you cancel
You can cancel from your appointment page at any time before it starts. The slot is released immediately so another patient can use it.
- Cancel with reasonable notice and you are refunded in full.
- Cancel very close to the appointment and a charge may apply, which is shown to you before you confirm the cancellation.
- You are never charged more than the consultation fee you already agreed.
If the doctor cancels
A cancellation by the doctor is treated far more seriously than one by a patient, because you arranged your day around it.
- You are refunded in full, automatically. You do not have to ask.
- We help you rebook, with priority on the next available suitable slot.
- The cancellation is recorded against that doctor and reviewed if it keeps happening.
If someone does not attend
If you do not attend and did not cancel, the consultation fee may not be refunded, because the doctor held that time for you. Repeated non-attendance may mean future bookings have to be paid for in advance.
If the doctor does not attend, you are refunded in full and we help you rebook.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the method you paid with. We will tell you when the refund has been issued and roughly how long your bank or wallet takes to show it.
If you disagree with a charge
Contact us and we will look into it. You will not be left arguing with the doctor about money.
